DSE/Visual Display

The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 implement an EU directive and came into effect in January 1993.

The regulations require Employers to analyse workstations and assess the risk. Employers should look at; the whole workstation, including the equipment, the furniture, and the work environment. The Job being done and any special needs of staff.

This course will help raise the awareness of employees and management to the effects of poor workstation design such as Work Related Upper Limb Disorders (WRULDS) or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

Course duration; at least half a day.

This course can be run in conjunction with the British Safety Council Level 2 - Certificate in DSE Risk Assessment
